21 Oct Toy Drive
It’s that time of the year! On Wednesday, December 14th, I will be hosting my law school’s annual Toy Drive. Every year around this time, the St. John’s School of Law Alumni Association holds an event where many toys are collected and distributed to children in need in Brooklyn and Queens. I’ve attended this event for the past several years, and it’s always a special night filled with enthusiasm and joy.
Through Transformation, and participating in workshops with Ariel & Shya and you all, I see the importance of being of service to others. It benefits the world at large, but it also supports me in being present by taking the attention off of myself. The Toy Drive is one way I can be of service to others – specifically, to children living in shelters who, without the Toy Drive, would receive no gifts during the holiday season.
I’ve created a personal website for the Toy Drive. Check it out: www.toydonation.weebly.com
On the website, you’ll be able to send a donation using paypal or your credit card. I’ll use the donations to purchase toys for the children. Or, if you’d prefer to purchase a toy on your own or give me cash to make a purchase, you can surely do that as well and bring me your donation at one of the Kanes’ Monday Night Alive! or weekend seminars.
Thanks so much for your support! See most of you at Monday Night Alive!
