What is Improv?

Improv (short for Improvisation) is actually something we do every day, we just don’t realize it. It’s the practice of expressing yourself spontaneously. Contrary to popular belief, it’s not about “how to be funny” even though it can certainly lead to that.

Andy Schneeflock

Andy Schneeflock has been a professional actor, improviser and teacher for more than 20 years. He teaches acting and improvisation at New York University – Tisch School of the Arts, Atlantic Theater Company and Stella Adler Acting Studio. His acting credits include roles in films such as Steven Spielberg’s “Bridge of Spies”, Sara Colangelo’s “What Is Life Worth”, and hit TV shows such as “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black”, to name a few. He has produced and presented Improvisation courses for corporate clients, including Fortune 500 companies. Andy is also a passionate Star Wars fan, loves racquetball, comic books and socks.
